Netscape 6.2.2 Profile Manager

Netscape can store the information about the settings, preferences, bookmarks, stored messages, and other user items in a user profile.  Netscape does this through the Profile Manager.

For example, If many people use one computer, Netscape can store all the settings for each person in his/her personal profile.  This way no one can modify your settings but you.  To set up a user profile, open the Profile Manager.

Click Start, then Programs.  Select Netscape 6.2 and Profile Manager from the menu.

The Netscape Profile Manager opens.

Click Create Profile...  .

To create a personal profile, click Next.

Every time Netscape starts, you will choose the appropriate profile.

Click Start Netscape 6 to launch Netscape.
