Netscape does this through the Profile Manager. For example, If many people use one computer, Netscape can store all the settings for each person in his/her personal profile. This way no one can modify your settings but you. To set up a user profile, open the Profile Manager. Click Start, then Programs. Select Netscape 6.2 and Profile Manager from the menu.
The Netscape Profile Manager opens. Click Create Profile... .
To create a personal profile, click Next.
Give the profile a distinctive name to distinguish it from any others. Click Finish.
You've just created a profile. Every time Netscape starts, you will choose the appropriate profile. Click Start Netscape 6 to launch Netscape.
